ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Participants must submit abstracts of no more than 250–400 words via the online application form.
The deadline for abstract submission is 10 August 2026. Abstracts submitted by fax, post, or e-mail, or those submitted after this date, will not be considered for the program or publication.
Applications may be submitted either as an individual paper or as a panel. Participants applying with a panel are required to upload a single file containing the abstracts of all panel papers, the panel title, the panel topic, and the contact information of the panel chair.
The languages of the Congress are Turkish and English. Abstracts must be submitted in either of these two languages. Abstracts submitted by participants who are unable to provide a Turkish version will be translated by the Organizing Committee.
Turkish-language papers included in the Congress program will be limited to 45%.
Each abstract must include a title, an abstract, and at least five keywords, and must be between 250 and 400 words.
The Congress will be held both in person and online.
Abstracts will be accepted upon peer review. Accepted abstracts will be published as an e-book following the Congress.
Applications are also open to graduate students.
Submission of a full paper is not mandatory. Full papers submitted will be published as an ISBN-registered e-book after the Congress. In addition, selected papers will be published in a special issue of a peer-reviewed journal.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION
The deadline for full paper submission is 8 November 2026.
Full papers must be submitted via the link that will be activated as of 24 August 2026, the date on which the accepted papers will be announced.
Submission of a full paper is not mandatory. Full papers submitted will be published as an ISBN-registered e-book after the conference.
In addition, papers selected by the Review Committee will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Maritime Studies and Blue Strategy.

Full Paper Submission Guidelines
- Full papers may be submitted in either English or Turkish. Papers submitted in Turkish must include a one-page extended abstract in English at the end of the paper.
- Full papers must be prepared in Microsoft Office Word (.doc) format on A4 (210 × 297 mm) paper size.
- Full papers, including tables, figures, abstract, and references (excluding the cover page), must not exceed 20 pages.
- A cover page containing the author(s)' full name(s) and contact information must be included at the beginning of the paper.
- Page margins must be set to 4 cm on the left, 2 cm on the right, and 3 cm at the top and bottom.
- Full papers must be prepared in 12-point Times New Roman font, with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment. A single space should be left after commas and periods (except at the end of paragraphs).
- Paragraphs must have a first-line indent of 1 cm. There should be 6 pt spacing before and after each paragraph. No additional blank lines should be left between paragraphs.
- The first page of the paper (excluding the cover page) must include both Turkish and English abstracts. The headings "ABSTRACT" and "ÖZET" must be written in 14-point bold, uppercase letters, with single (1.0) line spacing. Abstracts must not exceed 200 words and should be written in 12-point font, single (1.0) line spacing, and justified alignment. Abstracts must include a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords.
- Main headings and subheadings in the full paper must be in 12-point bold font, left-aligned (without indentation), and numbered in decimal format (e.g., 1., 1.1., 1.1.1., 1.1.2.). All letters in main headings must be uppercase, while only the initial letters of subheadings should be capitalized.
- All tables, figures, and graphs in the paper must be numbered consecutively and placed in appropriate locations within the text, centered on the page. Each table, figure, or graph must have a title. Titles must appear above the relevant table, figure, or graph, centered on the page, in 12-point font, with only the initial letters of words capitalized. The text within tables, figures, and graphs must be between 9 and 11 points. Tables, figures, and graphs must be clearly legible and conform to the page layout specified above (without exceeding the page margins).
- References must be prepared in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition.
